Skills for Leaders of Small Churches

This posting by Clay Oglesbee, a UMC district superintendent in Minnesota, is worth a look.  He describes five skills needed for leading a "vital, healthy, growing small church."

1. Preaching well
2. Crafting meaningful worship
3. Giving quality pastoral care
4. Relating to the people in your mission field.
5. Bringing in the next five new people

Take a look at clayoglesbee.blogspot.com/2012/04/pastoral-leadership-in-small-church.html.  Do you agree?  Does anything stand out to you as a good "next step" for your ministry?
